Jewelry and Metal Smith Apprenticeship | Mantenga Metal Smith, Ezulweni Swaziland
Learning and understanding the complexities behind metal compounds and gemstones. Creating and combing functionality and form in an aesthetically captivating and timeless jewellery item. Listening to customers and working with them to ensure I deliver a custom order that balances their desires with my skills as a designer.

Executive Assistant | Taiwan Medical Mission to Swaziland, Mbabane Swaziland
The Taiwan Medical Mission is a for government, non-for profit organization based in Swaziland. My main role was to ensure both countries (Taiwan and Swaziland) were in agreement with each other, in terms of international diplomacy and health care. I was the liaison consultant for our team and worked intensively with Swaziland’s Ministry of Health, the Embassy of the Republic of China, Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Taipei Medical University. I ensured our Medical Mission completed and executed our yearly medical plan on time and to the highest standard. We held five medical outreaches in a year where we bring our medical services to the rural parts of Swaziland and provide free medical check ups to people of the community.

I bridged the gap between the artist and the client, translating through digital design, what each party wanted and expected out of the project.

I aided in sales and simultaneously consulted with clients privately for all their interior decorating needs.I understood the importance of listening to your clients in order to understand their needs and pair them with items best suited to their personal tastes, color themes and interior styles.

Graphic Production Intern | The Joffrey Ballet, Chicago Illinois
I learnt the importance of branding and consistency. I drafted and designed advertising materials, which included pamphlets, web and print ads, e-blasts and e-zines, for the Joffrey Ballet. I excelled under such a high pressure environment and noticed it was where I was the most productive and created some of my best designs. I had the opportunity to work closely with the marketing team to construct designs that met their needs to best represent the Joffrey Ballet.
